How long will your dog
treats last and how should I keep them? We bake our
gourmet dog treats and biscuits each and every day to
ensure you and your dog receive the freshest possible
baked goods. You do not need to refrigerate any of our
treats, although you may freeze them to enjoy later. You
may store them in a treat or cookie jar or in the open
on the counter and they will keep well for 2-3 months -
and longer depending on humidity, etc. Our uncoated/
undecorated biscuits will keep for up to a year provided
they are kept dry.
Are your ingredients
safe for my dog? Yes. All of our ingredients are human
food-grade ingredients, but with some important
considerations for our dogs to be sure we have
completely canine-safe ingredients.
Do you use
preservatives, or artificial flavors? No, we
don't. We add no preservatives, we add no sugar, we add
no salt and we add no artificial flavorings of any kind.
In fact, we don't even add garlic or onion as these
ingredients can be troublesome for some dog breeds. Our
ingredients are procured from local Amish farms and
stores for an entirely unique and wholesome gourmet dog
treat or biscuit. Even the decorated treats use carob
(not chocolate) and yogurt coatings which are safe,
dog-friendly ingredients. For complete information on

How long will it take
to receive my order? After you place your order, it
will ship in 1-2 business days Monday through Friday.
Depending on where you are located, your order will
arrive in 1-5 days for locations in the contiguous 48
states and up to 7 days for locations in Alaska and
Hawaii. See our

How many dogs will the
birthday cakes serve? Our birthday cakes are 4
inches in diameter and 3.5 inches tall. This will allow,
roughly, for one piece for up to 8 dogs, or 2 pieces for
4 dogs. It depends, mainly, on the size of the dogs and on how much
of the dog treat cake you would like each dog
to have.
May I personalize any
of the dog treats with my dog's name or some other way?
Yes, the treat that is available to personalize is our
popular
Big Bone. You may select a specific message
available from a drop-down menu for us to "drizzle" on
the bone, such as "I Love You", "Welcome Home" and
"Happy B-day", or you may enter your dog's name or other
message (up to 12 characters and spaces) in the comments
box at the time you checkout.
How can I be sure my
birthday/occasion cake will arrive in time for my dog's
event? (i.e. birthday, obedience school graduation,
etc.) As a rule of thumb, you should allow for arrival a
few days before the date of the event. If you
absolutely, positively must have an order rushed,
you will need to phone our cell number (217-460-0525) and
we'll give you verbal instructions on how to rush your
order. While we normally pay all shipping costs, there
is an additional fee for rush orders and we can help you
decide if that's best when you phone us.
Can
I send my order as a gift and include a greeting? Yes. Whether you are
ordering dog treats, people gifts or dog gifts,
simply indicate the shipping address and include your
greeting in the comments box at the time of checkout.
Your greeting card will be included FREE of charge with the
gift you are sending.
May I make special
requests not offered on this website? Yes.
Simply include your instructions and special requests in
the comments box along with your phone number in case we
have questions. At PupDog Bakery, we understand that
every creative idea, or gift a customer may want, such
as different treat combinations, special gift messages,
adding dog treats to a people gift, and so on - its' not
possible for us to think of every creative combination
you can come up with, so we want our customers to know
we are completely open to meeting your specific
requests.
What if I am not happy
with my order? First off, we'd be broken-hearted to
know if you were not happy with our products or service,
but we understand problems sometimes do occur, either in
shipping, with delays, or in communications. If you are
unhappy for any reason, please contact us right away
either by email or phone. Email us at the address shown
at the top of this page, or phone my cell number at

and we'll work with you to fix your unhappiness.
